We believe that we are to call upon Jesus as the LORD of our lives.
This is the beginning of the Christian life and the sustenance of it for victory and success.
Holiness and purity in relationships will be its effect and a strong foundation for becoming a real Christ Follower.
2) The PASSIONATE PURSUIT of GOD in WORSHIP
We express our deep worship of God by seeking to know Him intimately through prayer and fasting, praise and worship, and thanksgiving celebrations.
3) The WORD of GOD
Through theological and practical teaching and preaching we aim for it to be understood, applied and lived out for life transformation. Having the Bible guide us in our Quiet Times is greatly encouraged.
4) COMPASSION for the LOST
People matter to us because they matter to God, that’s why it is our passion to bring people back to God through Celebrative, Culture Current and Life Changing Sunday Worship gatherings.
We are deliberate and strategic in evangelism & missions (world missions), church planting (launching) & mercy ministries.
5) The FAMILY
Next to God, we put high value and priority to Family, that’s why we give great importance to evangelizing and discipling families for the Lord Jesus Christ.
We firmly hold it is God’s will for the husband and his wife to be as ONE in bringing their family closer to God and serve in a ministry through the Vision of 12 where God has called them.
6) The NEXT GENERATION
We determine to educate our adult members to continue supporting (giving-funding), teaching, reaching the children and the youth wherever we plant a church or make our presence felt.
7) SPIRIT-FILLED and SPIRIT-EMPOWERED SERVICE
We honor Jesus as the Head of the Body and the Holy Spirit as our Counselor and Administrator of all we do. We seek to be actively responsive to the Holy Spirit's daily leading of our personal lives and ministries through His revealed Word, the Bible and promptings.
8. DISCIPLESHIP
We desire for all to believe the words of Jesus, obey His commands and do His works in love.
We aim first to grow as disciples of Christ ourselves and then to make disciples of others through relationship building in small groups --- Life Groups.
9. LEADERSHIP
It is our conviction that each child of God is called to bring Christ-like influence wherever God has placed them, therefore each follower of Jesus is called to be a leader (Life Group Leader).
We uphold the Jesus kind of Leadership -- that is through servant-hood and influencing others to follow God and His ordained biblical leaders.
10. UNITY WITH OTHER CHURCHES
We are convinced that all followers of Christ are one in His Body, the Church.
We aim to maintain unity by honoring all who "call on Jesus' name" and by seeking reconciliation with all parts of the church (The Body of Christ around the world).
OUR Faith Belief
(Our Statement of Faith)
1. The Trinity.
We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. That they are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption.
2. God the Father.
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and eternal death all who come to Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
3. Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus is the eternal divine Son of God. He chose voluntarily to be made in human likeness and was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Although He lived a sinless life He allowed Himself to be executed by crucifixion. His death paid the penalty for the offenses of mankind against God. However, as prophesied, He rose from the dead three days after His execution. After appearing to witnesses on a number of occasions for forty days, He ascended into heaven where He now serves as the Mediator between God and man. We believe that at the end of time He will again visibly return to earth to complete His eternal plan.
4. Holy Spirit.
We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity and in His interaction with man. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit which are to be used to build up the body of Christ for the members to reach fullness & maturity. We believe in the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and who regenerates, sanctifies, & empowers all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is abiding comforter, teacher and guide.
5. The Word of God.
We Believe that the Bible (sixty-six books) is the Word of God, fully inspired without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We look to the Bible for the revelation of the character of God and in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of men.
6. The Church.
We believe in the universal church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head and all regenerated persons belong. We believe in the local church, consisting of believers in Jesus Christ, baptized by immersion on a credible profession of faith, and associated for worship, work and witness. The Bible speaks of the church as Christ's body. It compares it to a living organism, where Jesus is the head. God arranges the parts of the body, Christ followers, just as He wants them to be. He gives each one special functions to perform for the good of the body. To remain healthy, the body's members must work together. God works through the church to reconcile a lost world to Himself through Jesus Christ. That’s the reason why it is important for Christ followers to regularly gather together for the purpose of celebration. We do intentional Discipleship training in all our Small Groups (aka Life Groups) network wide.
7. Regeneration.
We believe that all men are born with a sinful nature and by choice sin and are, therefore, under condemnation. The work of the Cross of the Lord Jesus was to redeem man from the penalty, power and presence of sin. We believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. We believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it.
8. The Believers.
We believe that a Christian should live for the glory of God and the well being of his fellowmen; that his conduct should be blameless before the world; that he should be faithful steward of his possessions; and that he should seek to realize for himself and others the full stature of maturity in Christ. As God’s children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in servant-leadership. We believe in the priesthood of the believer and the progressive sanctification of that believer into Christ likeness. We believe that Jesus Christ has seated every believer in the heavenly realms and has given him power and authority over the forces of darkness and satanic hosts.
9. The Last Things.
We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, and the establishment of a new heaven and new earth. We believe in the eternal reward of the righteous, and the endless punishment of the wicked.

We came from a Youth Group called REACHOUT MINISTRIES (connected to a church in Bacolod) that met at the basement of Lopue’s San Sebastian (1988-1992), reaching hundreds of students in a span of 5 years.
In January 1, 1993, the group moved out to the Dona Aurora building at Rizal Street.
From the passage in 2 Corinthians 4:11 (NIV) which says, "For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake so that [his life] may be revealed in our mortal body", the group adopted the name "His Life Ministries", this time thinking not only of the youth but also of the young professionals and adults.
We opened our doors to Bacolod City last February 14, 1993 as a local church group wanting to reach Adults, Young Singles, Campus Youths, and Children.
His Life Ministries was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in March 1993.
In February 6, our His Life Youth Ministries started the first fellowship meeting.
In February 14, the first Sunday Celebration of the new congregation was held at the Dona Aurora Building with Pastor Joebert as the speaker. The evening celebration was followed by a Bar-B-Q party which was attended by nearly 300 people.
Being a young and growing congregation in search of a ministry center, His Life moved from one place to another over the years. From Dona Aurora Building it moved to L-Square building at Lacson- Lizares Streets, then to Bacolod Christian Center, followed by Casa Noble in August 7, 1994. From 1995 to 1998, His Life met at the WSC Building located at Locsin-San Sebastian Streets.
In 1998 His Life, in a bold step of faith, started holding Sunday Worship Celebrations in one of the theaters at Robinson's Place in Mandalagan, Bacolod City while holding office and weekly ministry activities at the 2nd Floor of Hongkong Glass Palace Building at North Drive, Bacolod City.
Eight years after this, His Life purchased a 3,262 sq meter lot at the Northern part of Bacolod City. This would be the location of the future Head Quarters of the ministry.
In accordance to the vision of "Sending Leaders", His Life started to plant outreach churches.
In December 2001, His Life Family Center was organized at Sea Breeze Hotel with Eric Negado as pastor.
His Life Iloilo started in March 2002 at Robinsons Iloilo with Glenn and Glad Arellano as pastors and His Life Talisay in January 2003 with Chabby and Alma Palmares as its pastors. Outside the Visayas is HLM-Cagayan, pastored by Dante and Pearlie Montano. They started last October of 2005.
His Life then moved to start multi-site congregations and schedules pastored by our local church workers. These churches / congregations are Evangelistic and Discipleship oriented churches for the honor of the LORD Jesus Christ through the Vision of 12 around the Philippines and now in ASIA [Thailand & ASEAN Countries ].
Today, His Life Ministries has a healthy balance of children (His Lambs Children’s Church), youth (Youth Xtreme), as well as adult men (The King's Men) and women (Women of Destiny) composed of couples, singles and young professionals (Unwind).
God is faithful to His promises as His Life remains true to its vision of Glorifying Jesus and Advancing His Kingdom through Winning People, Bonding Believers, Training Disciples and Sending Leaders.
